Art, How I’ve Missed You!

Growing up I dreamed about becoming an illustrator. While that dream may have now changed, my love for art certainly has not. Taking time out to draw/paint etc is really important to me. It gives me a chance to step back from everything else going on in my life and just enjoy being creative. 

Since being at university I’ve been ridiculously busy. Aside from a few doodles in lectures, I haven’t been able to put my pencil to paper nearly as much as I would like to. 

Right now though, I have no close assignment deadlines & my new timetable has left me with a little more spare time in the week, so I’ve been jumping at the chance to draw whenever I can. 

I just finished up this drawing of a rose. I’m a little rusty so it’s not brilliantly shaded but I thought I would share it all the same.
